well i entered the

shabby apple 

dress giveaway not thinking i would ever win, because lets be honest im just NOT that lucky! 

well guess what i was totally wrong i am just that lucky! and i am now the proud owner of this cute dress

when i checked my email at 2:30 a.m. on valentines morning during a late night feeding from my cell phone to keep me awake i saw this is the subject line

"winner of the shabby apple dress giveaway" 

and almost deleted it. i thought it was junk mail, but for some reason in my tired state of mind i clicked on it and noticed that i was the lucky winner! 

i can't wait for it to come in the mail, now for r.s.v. season to go away and the nice weather to come so i can go to church and have somewhere to where the cute thing.

she is one lucky little lady!

1 month

wow it amazing how fast a month goes by. its sad to me that the last month of pregnancy seems like eternity and the first month the baby is here flies by. we sure are enjoying her! she is so sweet! i love the little spirit of newborns they are just so peaceful and bring a wonderful feeling into the home.

 

she is staying awake a lot more during the day and just loves to be held especially at night time. she is also starting to smile!! we already have so many nicknames for her: mish, little lady, lady bug, mimi (my fav. and josh hates it but i did catch him calling her it the other day,) lazy lady, sissy, just to name a few and im sure there will be many more to come.

one other thing that i think that is funny is that her eyes are changing colors to more of a blue. babies are usually born with blue eyes and then they change colors but she was born with brown eyes which i was a little sad about because i wanted her to have blue eyes like her brother, now they are changing and i hope they stay that way.it been such a blessing to have her in our home and i am trying to enjoy every minute of it and not let it go by to quickly.
